Vintage 70s New York Yankees Superteam T-Shirt by Hanes
"Superteam" as it was billed paid reference to the 1977 New York Yankees. After the offseason signing of Reggie Jackson, this team was thought to be stacked, and it was. Despite a tumultuous relationship between manager Billy Martin, owner George Steinbrenner, and Jackson, the Yankees went on to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers in six games. Jackson hit five home runs including three in the decisive game 6, earning the World Series MVP, and the nickname "Mr. October" along the way.
